The unveiling of the Nigerian Youth Union on Thursday 1st October 2020, aims to discuss pertinent challenges and difficulties that young Nigerians face and the urgency of a solution and rights-based youth organizations to form a voice for youths to aid social and sustainable development.
Program Theme: NIGERIA @60 and the Birth of a National Youth Platform.
The event was organized by the Nigerian Youth Union and other affiliate Youth Organizations.

#Sustainable Development For Nigerian Youths
The role of youths and participation in achieving sustainable development goals across the globe cannot be overemphasized.
However, having Youths as politicians is also key to become influencers in governmental issues in Nigeria. From guaranteeing successful usage of fundamental government plans like SDGs, Rural electrification Projects, create easy access to the new N75 billion Nigerian Youth Investment Fund, and so on.
Nigerian Youth Union participation in governance also aids to guarantee legitimate spending of public assets by their Representatives (from the national level down to the Local Governments), youth organizations have a great deal of responsibility on them to have a positive effect within the terrain of Nigerian Youths.
